Here's my first quilt. It's for a baby of a friend. I did stitch in the ditch to quilt it. I used one of the charity quilt patterns. For the backing I used a flannel bed sheet and I used the envelope method to finish because I wasn't sure about a border. I have plans to make 4 more baby quilts, but I plan to use different patterns as well as finishing methods. Two of the quilts are for my granddaughters are will be appliqued with Sunbonnet Sue, one is for a good friend's baby boy, and the last is for another friend who doesn't know what she's having yet, so it will be gender neutral.
