Wonderful quilts. The first one reminds me of the pinwheels I got as a kid and any Irish chain looks wonderful to me. I love that pattern. Yours is great. Love your colors.

Thank you all for your encouragement! I now need more fabric for the TIC so am working on finishing the quilting on the pinwheel in the meantime. The first time binding should be interesting... I'll definitely be looking here for tips!
