    Default New quilt for homeless Vet in NY State

    This is the 2nd one I'm sending up to Ro in NY state. She will be distributing them to a facility which houses homeless Vets. I posted a query about the name of this block here

    The block made some interesting patterns and I settled on the one below.

    Thanks Lynnie but really all the credit goes to Ro. She discovered this organization and she will be handling the distribution of the quilts. All I did was sew, a very enjoyable activity!

    Looks like a larger rail fence pattern to me. Thanks for doing this for our Vets.

    Great looking quilt! I am about 3/4 done with the top I am also making to sent to Ro. Planning to make Two for her project.

    Great job. I am going to start piecing the one I am giving Ro tomorrow. Have the fabric pulled. Just have to recover from my long trip to M&L yesterday!!

    What year is your Kenmore? Mine is a 1957 and looks like a twin to yours, and still going strong.
