I now realise that a lot of people are most probably sick of the blow by blow photos...silly me...

But until I stitch the words 'The Music Man' on black aida over the next couple of days and attach it to the top of the wall hanging...this is it...
I am wearing an ever-so smug look on my face. I've not followed any pattern, just cut & pieced as I went. When I saw the original panel (which has another 5 instruments), I knew this is pretty much what I wanted to finish with.
I am new to this board, but it has been great to have so much support from more experienced quilters.
I don't think I can deny that I quilt any longer....
Hello, my name is Bronny and I am a fabric artist! lol

Now to go and seek out that Aida, work out how many x's I can fit across it, and write up a chart for the words I need.
Oh yes...I'll have to make a backing...Plain black has my vote at the moment...along with black binding

Thank you all once again for your sisterhood support. It means a lot to me.

Lovely!! Now that is something I've been waiting for,
an idea to make a pillow for my world class pianist step-daughter!!
Though I'll have to get or make a picture of a grand piano, but the
edging is just the thing for all around mine!! And your coloring will
    be perfect for her house.

Now if I could only have your talent...
