Thread: my first real quilt

    This is a Take 5 pattern done my way. I didn't like the real layout so DH and I played with it until I found something I could live with. Truthfully it almost became a shower curtain. Also included is the queen of the house and the BOSS our Sammie cat. She is a love.

    I like the way you made it your own. That is the fun part of quilting, taking a pattern and making it do what you want it to! Like the color combination that you chose.

    Thank you all so much. It is now quilted, not by me...lol, and hanging on a quilt rack I made years ago. Every time I really look at it I just SMILE. I love it that much.
