My first scrappy jelly roll quilt

This is my 2nd lap quilt. I'm a relatively new quilter and just finished my first queen sized Log Cabin quilt and have been anxious to try the Jelly Roll race quilt. I was stalled at the starting gate so didn't win the race but I sure had a great time making it and can't wait to manother one. I love scrappy quilts. I didn't have a Jelly Roll so I used scraps that I had.

You did a great job! This is a wonderful 2nd quilt, I'm impressed. And your first was a queen size, wow, you like to forge right ahead. I agree with you, love scrappy.

These jelly rolls are fun to do. Made one also, can be a little scarey at first but once you get into it, they are fun. Isn't it amazing how people can come up with these patterns?

Good job! That is way better than my 2nd quilt. IMHO, it is better for being made with scraps instead of a jelly roll.

I love the scrappy!! I've been saving scraps of Christmas and Snowmen not knowing what to do with them. I think you have given me an idea.

    Your quilt was great.

I did my first jelly roll race last year. I used scraps like you did. I didn't win either but it was fun. I like the colors in yours.
