Wow what a great quilt! Your grandson is very lucky to have a unique quilt created for him with love. You should be proud of it. My son used to tell his friends that his quilt was "the only one like it on the planet!" I could have cried when he said that to his friends.

you did a fantastic job. Try looking at second hand stores for scraps, that's where I started out. Even clothes when they were on sale at second hand stores you can cut up.
