I am really happy with the results. I didn't follow the directions and ended up making 20 stars, instead of the 8 I had originally planned. I have no clue what I will do with the others but I know I will find something.

It was a lot of fun and a lot easier than I thought it would be. I can't wait to try more. You can check out more pictures on my blog.

Earthwalker, the picture by your name is interesting. Is that a quilt?

    Thank you!

I must warn you, it's addictive. I'm thinking of looking for more repeated fabric today.

I have the book and have never made one yet. What did you do differently from the directions? Those look great.

I didn't pay attention to the strips being 21 inches. Instead, I had the material folded selvage to selvage. I ended up cutting through 16 layers instead of 8.

    Luckily, it all worked out.
