You did a great job on your star. You should be so proud! Y seams get easier. I have made four stars and will be getting ready to start another one soon for a friend in TX who just built a new house. Love the colors you chose. thanks for sharing.

Ah shucks! :oops: Thank you all!. The support from this board is fabulous. It really keeps me going. In making the lap quilt, it really helped that I had a book to give me directions and helpful hints. What helped the most was pinning every intersection and slowly/carefully sewing over the pins to things didn't slide. Tedious, but I"m happy with the results. I'll post a pic when I get it quilted.
