Christie,

Great job. I liked the way you framed the logos etc. I also am working on a consignment T shirt quilt. A couple was just here this evening to discuss it. Their son went to Harvard on a wrestling scholarship and the Dad is a wrestling coach. They probably had 50 T shirts and more at home. Luckily I just finished making one for my daughter out of some of her T Shirts so I had something to show them. If it gets to big and they insist on batting I may take it to a friend of mine who does beautiful long arming.
For my daughter's I just put a cotton flannel sheet on the back rather than any batting. By the time you stabilizre the T shirts they are pretty heavy. The other problem with T shirts is the logos or designs come in all shapes and sizes. I did manage to machine quilt it but I wouldn't want to work with anything bigger or heavier. I will try and post a picture of the one I made for my daughter.

Christie--What a fabulous quilt!!! You lived up to your reputation of "can do anything and it will be beautiful!!"

I never knew a t-shirt quilt could look this good. The way you did it almost makes the shirts look like diplomas. One of our sons got his MBA at Duke, so of course that appeals to me as well, but it's really the quilting job you did. It's impressive.
