Always something new to do!! Nice tablerunner--also don't use solids often, but think it's a sign of the times.

I like it! I guess if you're going to branch out from mini quilts, table runners would be the next logical step. If you're feeling really adventurous you could try mixing some of these great blocks with your beautiful Dresden Kaleidoscopes for a very unique runner or table topper. =)

thanks Helen we did discuss doing some Dresden Ks out of it. I will probably play with that when I get done with these kits. It would be interesting to see what we could do with the DKs and quilt blocks! Maybe even smaller sizes! LOL I would love to do one that is a 6" block but the Iowa fab is too big for that. Maybe when we can go on to other fabs I will try that too.

thank you everyone for your nice comments. they are much appreciated! of course I can point out all the flaws! LOL

I have a new Brother (well new 2 yrs ago and not used til now) and when I shut it off it resets the needle position to the left. So when I turn it on I have to remember to reset the needle to 1/4". I forgot to do that so I lost some points!
Maybe later I can redo it and fix them. Kathy needs it for now to display.
