First of all, thank you everyone for the nice comments - so good for the ego!

The pattern was in an older magazine; the June 2005 issue of American Patchwork and Quilting. The pattern is called "Make Your Point" by Mabeth Oxenreider. It is shown in somewhat brighter colors, but Thimbleberries type of colors appeal to me.

The border after the dog teeth was supposed to be four rows of squares, but I only made one row because I ran out of fabric! I didn't want to make those last squares out of fabric that had not been used in the body of the quilt so I stopped at one row. So... I got a sorta wide twin, rather than a skimpy queen.

Wow, I'm glad you posted. It is beautiful. You have only been quilting for two years and you did a wonderful job. I was noticing all those small pieces.
