I'm old, been quilting all my life and I had never been in a quilt shop until today. What a wonderful place, I was almost overcome! I found a bunch of precut 1 yards on sale for $5 and $6 per yard. I bought a bunch that coordinate with the Maxine panels I bought online recently. Everything in the shop was beautiful, fabric, lots of quilts, notions etc.. I will go back (maybe tomorrow). The lady who waited on me was very nice and I felt comfortable browsing. Most of the fabric I bought is for Maxine bow tuck bags.

 Glad you had such a wonderful experience. Please post some photos of your "Maxine" bags when you get them done. I would love to see them.

Oh Mary ... Now you are so hooked! Laughing out loud here... Isn't a quilt store fun? There are so many things to see and sew that I could spend the day there looking.
I love the choices you made for companions to the maxine panels. They are going to be so CUTE!
