I have done small paper piecing (with large pieces) as sections of other projects, but THIS is a first! It's from the book "A Year of Paper Piecing" by Beverly A. Maxvill. Such wonderful designs! After this, I feel like I could paper piece ANY THING! LOL

That wall hanging is so pretty! Was it hard? It looks really complicated!

I can't say that it's "hard" , but very exacting and the roses and stems did get tedious, so I'd have to stop for a while. But I did it using the freezer paper method, so at least I didn't have to tear off all that paper when I was done! And with all the bias on this piece, I think having to rip off paper would have left me with the waviest fabric ever! Thank you!

Very pretty! I love paper piecing, but I've never used freezer paper. I'll have to try that.

Very nice! I did my first paper piecing this week and seeing yours is very inspiring for me to keep moving forward with it. That was quite a project for your first time. Congratulations on completing such a complex pattern.

Looks fabulous. I can see how it would get tedious but it turned out great and gave you lots of practice. Great job.

Well, if your "sunny and warm most of the time" place is SoCal, I can tell you a GREAT place to take a class! ;-)
