I have never heard of the Granny Square pattern before in quilting and I really like it. Yours came out really nice. Thanks for the inspiration.

That's a great block for scrappy quilt that I hadn't thought of. Something else to do with my bag of squares that I use for leader and enders.

OOOOOOH, I really like this one! My grandmother used to make granny square afghans, one of which I have, and I can see me making a quilt that looks like her afghan....right up my alley, colorwise, too....as she used bright yarns surrounded by black!

This is my kind of quilt! I really like the scrappy colors resting on a sea of neutral beige. Please be sure to post a picture of the finished product.
