Default My first two Bow Tucks bags

Here are my first two Bow Tucks Bags. The violet one is for my DD since she loves music and Purple. The second one is for my aunt Jennie, who loves roses and blue. I made the violet one last May, and finished the blue rose one I just finished today. Making the first one was a bit challenging, due to lack of pictures, but I managed to find pictures to be able to make the second one much faster. The first one took two weeks and the second took two days.

That is such a pretty bow tuck.
I made one a long time ago, but someday I want to make another.
Yours is just great.

Nice bags, I have had this pattern for years and although I have made many bags something about this pattern doesn't click for me! I know one of the ladies from my quilt guild made so many and they were stunning, she was lucky that her daughter had a shop so she sold them in there.

Beautiful bags. Well done and great gifts! It is amazing just how quickly a second time around can go so quickly! I did that yesterday making night gowns. The first ones took me a week to make while the one and one half I made yesterday took me only a few hours. I will have them both finished sometime tomorrow since I have a concert this afternoon and no sewing time.

Great bags! I sure love them, but alas i am “one of those people” whose brain just cant seem to process making them. I guess its just the way my brain *doesnt* work! You do very nice work! 😊
