My five dollar quilt find today

I dropped some items off at the local charity store and went inside and found this. My cats love to get on top of my recliner, this will fit it well. It's a bit wider than long. Still, very cute!!

    Wow that is gorgeous.
There comes a time in life, when you walk away from all the drama and people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh, forget the bad, and focus on the good. So, love the people who treat you right. Think good thoughts for the ones who don't. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is part of LIFE...Getting back up is LIVING...

yep, it caught my eye. Can't think why it was at the Charity shop but guess the quilter makes them and lets them go. Good practice!!

Great find! It looks like your fur babies are enjoying the find. Just last week, my girlfriend and I were talking about finding nice quilts or quilting fabric in the thrift stores and we came to the conclusion that family didn't value quilts and fabric or maybe the person didn't have family left. It's sad, but it really helps the quilter who is on a fixed budget and can get fabric or parts of a quilt project.

put off till tomorrow what you can do today, and if you procrastinate long enough, you may never have to do it.

Those appear to be recent fabrics. Beautiful Lone Star quilt.

I am hoping mine do not end up in thrift shops. They sell them too cheap.

That is a beautiful quilt someone sure put a lot of time an work into it.

A great find for you and your fur babies. My thoughts about what they'll do with my quilts "after" is that what difference does it make? As long as I get the pleasure of making them and gifting them, that's what counts most, IMHO. I do know they value those I have given them, but who knows what will come of the ones I leave behind.
One step at a time, always forward.
