    Heavy starch. Make them feel like card stock. Can't wait to see the finished quilt. It will be breath taken.

    I did a lone star and likely will not do diamond shapes again because of the distortion. I had to starch, iron and repeat many times. I also asked for the fluffiest batting to help hide the wonkiness. Be sure to lift the iron up and down and don't slide it. that should help reduce the distortion. Good Luck!
