Default What a happy trade!

One of the ladies at work had 8 border collie pups she was selling. I traded her my first ever "Trip around the world" for Sadie. She is 8 weeks old. My granddaughter is in love! (So are the rest of us)

Fabulous trade. Puppy & DGD are adorable! Quilt was very pretty too but tough to be cuter than those two

Great trade! We had a border collie for 16 years, they are wonderful dogs. She grew up with our kids. They are smart, be prepared to keep one step ahead of them!

What a cutie pie! I love the tri-color markings. Make sure you give her a job to do. Border collies are super smart and need a job to keep their mind occupied and use up all that energy that has been bred into them for herding sheep, they have been bred to think for themselves. If you don't supply a challenging activity for them, they can become destructive. Basic obedience first. Get her enrolled in a class as soon as you can, the are never too young to start. Then you can look into Agility. Agility is a great thing to get involved with. It is good exercise for you and your dog, gives your dog confidence and is a ton of fun and border collies excel at it. Kids can do it too so make sure you involve your DGD.
