Default For my friend's nephew, inspired by Fibonacci

My friend's nephew (13 yrs old) has to have his second brain surgery. This will give him a 30% chance of long term survival The whole situation is horrible. Anyway, I made this quilt using fabrics that represent all the things he loves: swimming, sharks, star wars, nature and the Pittsburgh Penguins. I made a pattern inspired by a Fibonacci sequence to bring them all together. He will get it on Sunday and I hope it makes him smile.

What a neat idea to use the fibonacci sequence to make your quilt. Sure hope it brings comfort to your friends nephew. So sad when kids are faced with such horrible circumstances. I like how you were able to tie together all those blues too.

That's a wonderful quilt and I'm quite sure he will smile when he sees it. Very loving of you to make this for him. I wish him well.

What a cool quilt for a terrible reason. I'm so sorry about your friend's nephew's condition. I pray he astounds everyone by being miraculously healed.
