    The star blocks are 14inches. I put my on twist on the construction of the quilt. Thank you all for your comments. They are very encouraging as I am new to quilting. I really am enjoying my new found hobby..

    Beautiful quilt. Using hourglass blocks in the center block is a great idea, giving the block a really unique star.

    Nice quilt. I like the colors. I like scrappy but I really like controlled scrappy like this one.
