My front door wreath
#62
I have received several requests for a source of the pattern I used, and it was bought 4-5 years ago at www.thedoormouse.com, at the actual store, not online. I've done a search and it seems the company that made the pattern has no online site, and may be out of business. It was Quilt Directions, in Waynesboro, VA
I did find one similar at http://www.mccallsquilting.com/%5Cpa...html?idx=13202, and there is a free pattern online. Looks like it's mainly just a bunch of hourglass blocks, and would do well as a paper piecing pattern too.

It's a metal door, and at Menard's, I saw them at Meijer's too, they sell magnetic hooks that just stick to the door. They have green, red and white ones, and are designed for just this purpose. They are very very strong, and I assume, since they are in the Christmas section, they will not be sold after the Christmas season
I'll admit, I was not thinking Christmas when the idea first came to me. I saw "The Witch is Dead" wallhanging, for Halloween that I thought, "hey, that would look cute on our door" and that naturally turned to Christmas, and now I'm thinking.....Monthly changes!
