Is there batting? I have thought about making, but thought I needed some kind of a nylon fabric. What fabric did you use? Size of flag? I love it and would like to make them for the seasons and holidays, birthdays etc. Could even personalize for birthdays and anniversary. So cute!!

I made it from regular fabric, with cotton batting and I just quilted a few lines around the largest block on the black areas. I know it will fade and not last long, but I'll try to bring it in out of the rain, and it's a bit shaded by the gate, so it will last the season anyway. Then, I'll just have to make another one! :) It's 12 x 18 inches with 2 tabs to hang it from at the top.

I am making notes in my to do book. I love all that could be done. I have purchased one flag with a quilt block, but it was expensive. I rather make and have changes. These would be fun gifts, also. Thanks for the info and size.... Thank YOU!!
