Did you forget to post the pictures of your ghastly quilt top? Hee hee. Cause all I see here is a simply beautiful quilt! What a wonderful combination of fabrics and design! Perhaps you've just been looking at it too long and it has lost it's fresh appeal to you. Trust us all here: that a terrific quilt!

What a great quilt! It looks way better than my first one! Your color choice is really good because it gives some beautiful movement to it. It may not hold up to the quilt police, but in my experience no quilt does beginner or advanced!!!! You did a wonderful job and maybe the next one you make will be the one you LOVE
Happy Quilting,
Mal

It's a beautiful first quilt - think of everything you learned making it - finish it up and use it. Years from now you can look at it and see how much your quilting skills have improved. We all made a first quilt that wasn't the greatest, but they are still well loved and used.

I think this quilt is lovely. All it will take to make it spectacular, color-wise, is your choice of border and binding fabrics. Those choices will pull it together. Yes, your quilt is not perfect from a piecing standpoint, but it was a learning experience and will make a lovely bedquilt or hanging.

I don't think it's ghastly at all. Love the colors. You, like me, just need to be able to match your seams a little better. That's a problem I am trying to get better at solving!
