I love it...reminds me of a quilt my mom had way back when...really, really pretty!!! Oh and if anyone points out the imperfections, just tell them it's suppose to be that way...

I think a black and red border will really set this off, like 2 1/2 inch strips fo black, red, and black.

Did you forget to post the awful quilt???? Cuz this one definitely isn't it. Love your fabrics. You sure tackled quite a quilt for your first one. Great job!

I like your quilt, your fabric all work well together. Numerous ways & tools for Flying Geese - experiment and find what works for you, then enjoy the process. Matching points will get easier. Pressing direction is important. This is a great first quilt to be proud of.

Over time you will improve greatly. My first quilt was not lined up, squares were off kilter... and it was Trip Around the World. That is blocks, not points like you have done. Points are very hard as your first quilt. You are courageous.

OMG this is going to be gorgeous when you have it completed, step away and look at if from across the room. You are too close to it to see it shine.

Once you quilt it...the minor flaws won't show at all...the quilt is busy enough that they will blend right in, as they do now.
