My great-grandmother passed away when I was 11, and my grandmother (her daughter) inherited her handmade quilts. My grandmother passed away a couple of months ago, and I was lucky enough to inherit both some quilts she'd made, and also my great-grandmother's quilts.
Here are some photos. The dresden plate quilt is partly machine-pieced, but otherwise they're all hand-pieced and hand-quilted.

Wow, simply amazing!!! I so wish I had some kind of family treasure like that. I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother. She'd be so happy to know her quilts will be treasured instead of thrown in the back of a closet somewhere, or worse, used to haul furniture and pack boxes with. Thank you for sharing these quilts with us.

Couple more of the same quilt.
My grandmother crocheted afghans too, but I don't have any photos handy. She mostly made them with Granny squares. I inherited a lot of those, as well. 8-)
