In August I started collecting Halloween fabric for a quilt. I've got it almost finished. It was really fun to work on. I chose a very simple pattern since I'm new to quilting and this was my first try at machine applique. I really like what applique can do for a quilt, the way it pops out. Hope you like it and go easy on me, I'm still wet behind the ears!!!

Trying to figure out where the ghosts should go.

This is the backing, it's flannel. I got it at Wal-Mart for like $2 a yard!!! Can't beat that!!

I absolutely love this Halloween quilt. You did an impressive job with the applique. The ghosts really add movement to this quilt. It is wonderful. Thank you for sharing.

Wonderful quilt! I love Halloween fabric, and the flannel is fantastic. I would have bought all they had.

I think you did a wonderful job on it. Love the rail fence pattern. I'm doing one for my DH. Originally was going to make a D9P but didn't like the block, so now it's just a plain old 9 patch but with really colorful fabric (halloween)

I think you can consider yourself "dry behind the ears" now. That is a great quilt.
