I was in St Cloud, MN on Saturday and I see they are putting a Harbor Freight store in, right next to the Joann Fabric store!!!! Can't wait to go exploring there in person.

I think Harbor Freight is on to us - I bought the 2-pk Replacement Carpet Cutter Blades and the package says "Ideal for cutting carpet or quilts". Still only $1.98 a 2-pk.

check out their magnets that are 12 inches long, takes 2 screws and when on the wall holds many scissors and other items. Only $5.00. they also have a magnetic bowl that I use for my pins

I've learned to go with my DH when he says he's "going to HF". I've bought the magnetic bowl for my pins, headlight that straps to my head, rotary blades ( carpet blades actually) and other things I think I can use in my sewing room.
He goes with me to Hancock Fabrics and Hobby Lobby and doesn't mind.

I think there is a HF in Fort Myers, Fl. I'll have to take a run at that place because that kit looks like the items I need to carve pumpkins! i imagine I'd have to oil them with a bit of sewing machine oil after cleaning too.

A magnet on a string .......drag on floor/under things to pick up pins......works for me.....
