Couldn't wait so I cut it out, peeled off the parchment and put it onto more parchment so it wouldn't stick to the ironing board. the piece I peeled off will be a placement guide for those pieces going on top of the new piece. assembled, but still need a few more pieces to finish up. Almost ready for stitching.

large piece placed on top of the parchment on top of the pattern

Toni Whitney Designs then click on patterns in the upper left. I just got the one for the cat and the foal. Can't wait to get to them!!

Wow, it will look lovely. Have just looked at the other patterns Toni does - will need to try one of these.

Are you assembling the horse before putting it on the final background? When you satin stitch the edges do you match the thread color to the fabric or are you using some sort of invisible thread?

It is looking awesome and I hope you are going to post more pictures as you progress!!! :thumbup:
