Default My Hoopsisters Finish

This is my first Hoopsisters quilt that I completed while taking a 4-part class at my LQS. It's a fairly new pattern called Summer Dreams, although mine is fall dreams because of my fabric choice. It's such a beautiful pattern and my BL Unity handled it like a dream. The instructions required a 3-ring binder and were very well organized, thorough, and had many photos to guide the process. There were a few mistakes but it helped being in a class where a couple other students were stitching this pattern so we compared notes and made corrections as we progressed.

This was also my first time adding a flange to the binding and really love the effect. Each block took between 45-75 minutes to stitch. The sashing process did get a bit tedious but I do love the result and plan to try another of their patterns later this year.

Just beautiful. Did you complete it like a quilt as you go block?

Beautifully done. I think those are so intense you really have to work in a classroom environment.... I know someone who did one thru a LQS too, it's lovely, but it took much time and $$$$$....it is her pride and joy, deservedly so!
