Thread: My HUGE haul from after christmas shopping trip

    So we went to TWO different hancock fabrics as well as goodwill and this is what I ended up with....the first two pics are fabric I found at Goodwill and the rest are from the quilt stores. :)

    Thanks! I was so excited to find the cool fabric for my niece for her bday from goodwill as well as the little girl stuff. It was a fat quarter bundle and I actually bought 3 of them but not clue what for LOL. I prolly would have bought more if they had more hahah. Wonderful and terrible at the same time LOL ;)

    LOL my DH thought I was nuts. He is like "DO you realize how much sewing all the fabric is??" hahahaha yes....yes I do and I am SO excited! WOOOHOOO!

    Thats what I said as well. He doesnt really mind because then he can build computers or play video games or watch lots of ESPN lol. We are both enjoying our own separate hobbies... mine is still better though of course ;) shhh

    I hit Hancocks after Christmas too, after I went to the newly reopened LQS to shop first!!! What a haul! (for both of us, lol!!!!)

    I am waiting to do my "big" after Christmas shopping at my LQS on January 1st where EVERYTHING will be 20% off -- AND I have a gift certificate :D :D

    I never thought to look at Goodwill or Salvation Army for fabric. What a great idea!!! I'll have to get my little posse (granddaughter & my Mom) together and go "junkin", which is what we call those shopping trips. Thanks for the tip!!!

    I love the precious moments, what a darling little quilt that will make. I made a baby log cabin in precious moments a few years back, its one I'm saving for a grandbaby one day I hope.
