Thread: My Hunters Star avatar

    Here are two photos of my avatar. It is a variation of a Hunters Star and was made for my sone. He set me a challenge of making a quilt using only black and white! When I panicked he said I could use a touch of grey too! lol As I usually love bright colours this was very difficult for me to even start! I quilted this on my Janome 11000SE mostly SID but in the white sections I used one of the quilting/embroidery motifs to add a little soft relief

    Your quilt is beautiful and I like your motifs in the white section.

    Oh my goodness, it is gorgeous...If you feel like making a duplicate, I'd like one! ;) Hunter's Star is my favorite.

    Love the quilt. Black and white make such a striking quilt. Add a little red and you have my favorite color combo.

    Beautiful! Did you purchase your quilting motif extra, or is it part of your machine designs? I ask because I would like something like that to use on my new Janome9700. Need to tell hubby what to look for, Xmas gift. He needs specifics!!

    I love it! Black and white are my favorites, I have one on my list, after I finish the other lists. Great Job.
