I originally made this quilt for my husband ( 1/2 Irish and 1/2 Italian)....but we found his sister-in-law has uterine cancer.....and after surgery, biopsy showed cancer had spread to her lymph nodes......I still work full time, and quilt slowly,....did not want to take the time to make her one fro scratch, so DH generously agreed we could give her this one, and I could make him another......This was quilted by Nancine Pike of Purcelville, VA using 4 different Celtic knot patterns. I still have to put on the binding...but that will get done next week. How do you like this one?

You did a great job piecing it and definitely picked the right quilted for the job. The quilting is really lovely.

Best of luck and warm wishes to your sister-in-law.
