The best thing about posting pictures I get to lean the names of blocks quilter use. I love you choice, can't wait to see it when it is all together. I think that Jacob's Ladder is on my list inspired by you . I love the colors. :thumbup:

It's a pretty block. When you put them together it creates a beautiful pattern. I am sure she is going to love her quilt. Keep us posted on your progress.

When I saw the single block, I wasn't so sure about it. But...the two together really look great. That blue is kind of an electric color and I like it.
I did a similar one for my daughter in pink and brown. Jacob's ladder lends itself to many different settings, kind of like the log cabin. Play with the layout before you sew it all together and be sure to post a finished picture for all of us to see.
