    Loretta,

    What a beautiful quilt! I love all things scrappy, and this is a stunning example of my favorite block (crumb blocks). I read about the quilt on your blog, and until then I had not noticed the embroidered flowers in some of the white squares. What a great idea.

    Here's hoping your friend's family -- all of them -- will be comforted in the long healing journey ahead of them. They will certainly know they are loved every time they look at the quilt you made.
