Hi....I adopted two kitties six years ago from a shelter (my first pets) and they are just so great and get tons of love and attention. However, the second I take out my mat and lay fabric on it ready to cut or arrange, one of my girls comes out of whatever bed or box they are in and plop themselves right on the board as if to say 'I am more important than whatever you are doing'. Of course I stop for a minute and give them hugs. Also, the ironing board with my fabric on it is another favorite place.

Just wanted to show you them in action. I am a new quilter and this is my second post other than my introduction the other day....hope the pics come out. If they don't I will try again. Thank you for looking.

Your cats are beautiful. My Chicca is my best helper; she loves to inspect new fabrics, help with cutting and arranging and of course give her yeah or neah on quilts. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you. Believe me they are very spoiled (and loved a lot).

Such typical kitties!!! I made mine each a "special place" in my sewing room. They have baskets with their own quilts in them. To get them to "move into" the special places, just put a shirt or top out of the laundry basket there and they will cuddle right down. Then when they get their scent in there they will head for that area.
Oh, by the way, sometimes you have to replant them into their places, cause they still like your stuff best!!! hahahaha
