Great job. Child services would love to have them for children removed from horrible situations.

There are so many places you can donate quilts to: your local hospital, hospice, nursing home, orphanages, shelters and so on.

That is such a pretty lap quilt! How generous of you to want to donate your hard work!
If you don't have a favorite non-profit where you want to donate your extra quilts, you might consider giving them to your local quilt guild. They donate quilts all year round and usually know where the need is greatest. One of my guilds makes and donates over 500 quilts a year. We often are given quilt tops that we can then sandwich and quilt to donate. Fat quarters, orphan blocks, novelty fabrics and panels that can be bordered and made into good sized kid quilts -- all are welcome to create warm comfort quilts!

Love your quilt! I make a lot of lap quilts and donate them to The Healing Place in Louisville KY. My neice is there for drug addiction (and doing great by the way!!) and she told me that a lot of the girls there have nothing so I make them and take them to her and she gives them out. Makes my heart feel good. Also any Womens shelters like Domestic Violence etc would be happy to take them.

Beautiful use of scraps. You will find someone that needs a quilt.

Oh my goodness, there are so many places you could donate them. My guilds I belong too all donate to different organizations. Nursing homes also like donated quilts for people in wheelchairs.
