on a small lap ring! I just finished the Bear Paw quilt I have been working on for 3 months. It was all hand quilted on a 20" round lap ring. Ugh, I hate quilting on a ring, very uncomfortable and was forever having to reposition the quilt. Next quilt will be quilted on a Hinterberg frame made by myself from their kit. Next to quilting, my other love is woodworking. So, I bought the kit and the lumber and built this frame myself! It will accomodate a quilt from lap size to king, depending on the size of the rails you use. I have to purchase the metal rails, which are electrical conduit, mount them and add the leader strips. I am so excited, husband didn't think I could do this, but I keep telling him when a woman puts her mind to something, no stopping her. He's impressed and I am loving life right now. Can't wait to get started on my next quilt. Thanks for looking! Barb

Great job on the quilt! I like your inspector and the frame looks very durable. Your DH must know by now what you're capable of doing when you say you're going to do it!
