I think it looks gorgeous just the way it is :D
Ive noticed most quilter, myself included, are our biggest and usually our only critics, and most goofs are only really noticeable to ourselves (unless its a major 1).

Ok here is how it actually turned out (hubby liked it "backwards") so I left it. And I think I still like it, what do you all think?

I like it and now you can say it is really your own design so to speak, because you made changes from the original pattern.lol
Really it is truly a beautiful quilt and one to show off!! The white makes the red stars or whatever they are, in the border really pop.

Hello pstoner; I love your quilt and have spent ages comparing the two alternatives for your border and think You've chosen the right one - amazing how different the two border choices were - glad you're happy with it now - does it have a name?
