My latest projects and I am pleased!

Finally tonite I got the binding on this turning twenty quilt. I do need to bury the threads yet and wash it. It is a gift for a wedding in March. I am very pleased with the quilt overall, very pleased. So I decided today to make a pillowcase dress for a little girl that shares my birthday in May. She is 4 and loves to wear dresses. Now I am thinking she needs a little purse to go with her dress. Since I don't have girls or granddaughters, I am really enjoying this!

They are both beautiful. The dress is adorable, and I like the contrasting hem.

Both are beautiful. How fun to have a little girl to sew for. A very lucky little girl she is! Yes, I agree with you, she deserves a little purse with her lovely dress!

Wonderful projects. Well done. The lucky little girl that is going to receive that dress will be ecstatic. Lovely color and a purse is just the right accessory needed (smile). How wonderful of you to do this for your birthday twin. Thank you for sharing.

Love the colors of the quilt... almost the same as the quilt I'm working on for my GD.... brown's, whites and light lime green. It's good to see how well they go together. Thanks.

Really cute dress! You're right....it does need a purse to go with it (LOL). Sewing for little girls is so much fun.

    Love the quilt, too.
