    Default My latest quilt

I have had these fabrics in my stash for a long time and finally had the chance to make it. This is just the top so far but I love how it turned out. My sewing group was challenged to make something that did not have any squares or rectangles so I made the center. A couple months later, the group was challenged again but this time to make something from a pattern in a magazine. Since this pattern came from a magazine, I completed the quilt top. I have been sewing for other people for most of this year and this one is for me. All the fabrics came from my stash. The pattern is called Serafina and it is from an old Fabric Trends magazine from a long time ago. It is a favorite pattern of mine and challenging to make but I am happy with the end results. My DH apologized for not having a wider 'wing span' to hold it so you could see it better. LOL
