Ah-h, at last the sun is shining in Missouri and looks like it has hit your quilt top too! It will make a very nice and welcoming quilt to sleep under. Congrats - do let us see the finished product.

WOW that is beautiful, love it. How long did it take you to make it, are all the leaves appliqued by hand? Awesome job, thanks for sharing

Sorry, don't know how long it took, I never time myself LOL..and no I used my beautiful machine to applique them. I cut them out and then turned under 1/4 inch and then used wonder under to place them.
there's lots of hours and lots of love there :-) but I'm retired so I have nothing but time...

Hazeljane was the dog of my heart, and who the rescue is named after. But she was named after a lovely woman, also named Hazel Jane. I loved her and her name.

So, what are your border thoughts for this cheery top? More applique, or are you going to piece it? Either way I am sure it will be pretty.

Going to use a 1 inch yellow checkered that is like the center square and then a 2 inch light and med green with small flowers and 3 1/2 inch tiny flowers that are pink, lavender and dark purple background
