I vowed I would not buy anymore fabric until I used some up. This quilt is made out of lots of scraps of leftover tie dyed fabric, all sewn together in strips. I did it in a quilt as you go technique and used some wild leftovers for the back too. I didn't have enough fabric to just do it in one color.

I like the back just as much as the front of your quilt!! Nice job and what a way to get rid of scraps.

Wow!! So bright and cheery. I bet it feels good to use what you already have on hand. I should do another scrappy. I used up a lot of blues when I made Jim the Log Cabin for Christmas, but I still have a lot more.

I really like that. I am trying to use up lots of scraps by making lap quilts for everyone for next Christmas. I love the way you did the back. Uses up even more!

    Well!
I think you did a very fine job of using up your scraps and making an attractive, looks like you planned every move, quilt!
Had you not told us the pre-thought you had about this quilt, I'll bet you would have been inundated with demands for a pattern, a tutorial, and where did you get that fabric????
I call that a GOOD success and you have every right to be proud and enjoy your creation.
    Good job!

The back is as nice as the front. Love the colors and the quilting is so straight - looks good.
