I am such a bookie I love this quilt!! I have just started saving selvages, so I wouldn't have enough, but after I am done with the 3 projects I am working on now, I am planning a library quilt as a lap quilt! Thank you for the great inspiration!!!

Just think, such a beautiful, colorful library and NO DUSTING needed. You are very clever! Putting in the family photos just puts of over the top.

I was always under the impression that the selvages are woven so tightly that they shrinks differently than fabric......so did you wash all this fab/selvage before beginning this lovely quilt....I have the pattern and have always wanted to do it with fabric strips for book spines.....this has renewed my desire...now to find that pattern!!!!!!! Yours is really cool, but I use my selvages to tie/bundle things........
