Fantastic! This retired book seller has a ton of selvages waiting for inspiration. Thanks.

This morning I was just thinking how my selvages are adding up. Thanks for posting a wonderful wall hanging. So much more interesting than just "books".

What a creative way to use your salvages! I love how you've added photos to your bookcase! Thanks for sharing and inspiring.

Me too!!! I also like Sandy's "She who dies with the most fabric, didn't sew fast enough!". That sounds like me too.

If you plan to use this idea...
ask your friends to give you the written part of
their selvages with at least 1/4 inch of fabric
it will make your life happier.

    thanks again

Wow - A member of one of my guilds asked for two-inch strips. Fabrics are getting narrow enough that I wasn't about to cut two inches off. I have been cutting as you said for my project.

What a great idea for selvages. I now have an idea for the bag of selvages I have. Thank you.

You are very clever to come up with that idea of using salvages. Beautiful quilt.
