My grandmother made this quilt, and I've just now come to appreciate it. She passed away in 1979 in her 80's. I think this quilt must have flour sacks/feed sacks in it.

Can anyone identify any of the materials as flour sacks or feed sacks?

I just started doing some simple quilt tops this year, and I'm hooked. After a long career in education, I never thought I would get involved in quilting, but I'm learning and love it!

Grandma's are seldom appreciated until their grandchildren are older. You have a great treasure there, it is beautiful

Oh, I really wish flour still came in sacks like that, instead of paper or plastic. Think of all the fun things we could make!
Sorry, I can't ID the material for you :)

Your GM's quilt is gorgeous! Sorry, can't help with feed-sack question.

Beautiful quilt! How wonderful that you have that from your grandmother! Sorry I can't help with the fabric. I like the block, though.
