Tricky, I have that book too! I've only been brave enough to try a block or two, never a whole quilt. You've inspired me though! I love your quilts. What type of paper do you use? Removing the paper is the part I hate the most. I used Fun-dation paper last time, but just left it on.

i USE THE LIGHTEST COMPUTER PAPER i CAN FIND AS IT IS VERY CHEAP AND IT IS RELATIVELY EASY TO REMOVE WHEN WATCHING tv!!!

Oh, please don't give up :-( Stick with easy patterns (fewer points, fewer pieces) in the beginning until you get the hang of it. Any of Carol Doak's books will walk you through the technique. Once you have practiced a bit (use those pesky little scraps) you will appreciate the incredible accuracy you can achieve. :D

Now don't y'all go giving up on paper piecing.

This post inspired me...love your colors and the very thought of making such a beautiful block in a short period of time...

I want to see more, more, more.
And that includes the uhohs and booboos.

We can learn from each others mistakes.
Life is just too short to make them all, all by ourselves.
