Great results for all ... and looks like you are ready for Christmas in July! :)

Forest in the Trees .. your original design? or a pattern?
I like it ... and would be something that would fit well in my home.

Your String Quilt with the narrow white strips is one of the very best of its kind that I've ever seen! You have a strong sense of balance and unity there! And the wreaths? I'm loving them and desire to make one with my Christmas reds and greens.

Wonderful! Good for you for working on UFO's! I'm not that strong yet -- every new idea calls to me -- but I have vowed to shop only in my stash until the end of August!

Thank you all for the wonderful comments! My head is swelling LOL!!! "Forest for the Trees" is my original. I strip pieced a collection of batiks (varied widths from 1.5" to 3") then strip pieced white batiks and cut out freehand for the trees. I then FMQed all of it together.

And yes, I am trying to get ahead on my Christmas stack. I always seem to need extras so I am trying to get the gift closet filled early! Helps to finally have life settling down so hubby and I can stay home on the weekends. I quilt, he gardens.
