Default My Mexican Star wall quilt

Here is my latest wall quilt and a picture of the fabrics in it. The colors show up as brown in the picture, but they are not. I guess its due to the lighting or my camera. I scanned the actual fabrics used so you can see the true colors. I had to lay a manila folder on the scanner so the white tot paisley would show up. The Palindromes print is olive, celery, red, orange, magenta, and blue, with a hint of gray, white and black. The other light fabric is celery. The fabric at the top is the batik I'll be using for binding. Not sure yet how it will be quilted.

Lovely wallhanging. I really like the print you used -- so festive!

Very pretty. I've had mine done for over a year just can't decide how to quilt it.

Thanks Joyce. If you want to look, my post under Pictures, My Latest Wall Quilt (posted a couple weeks ago) shows my close channel quilting. That's the only way I can think of for this quilt; to do diagonal channel quilting, starting at the edge of the stars and going out to the corners. Then I guess I would just do stitch in the ditch for the stars. I can't do feathers or anything nice in free motion, and can't afford to send it out, so that's all I have come up with thus far. If anybody else has ideas I would love to hear them. Thanks for your post.
