What beautiful blocks!! Sooo much work has gone into them - I like that you kept the blocks the main focal point by using a muted fabric to piece them - wonderful job!! cheryl :-D

This is a beautiful treasure. I like the way you did sashing and borders. You made the embroidery the "star" of your quilt.

Yes, I wanted my mom's blocks to be the quilt - and to keep them the focus..this is really her quilt....I will always treasure this one...I am planning a move..and I am planning on this one being on display in my next sewing room....
She will be pleased!!!!
